Join Us - Folder Deposit
As of 2011, the Suburban Concert Band utilizes customized black music folders that enhance the band's visual aesthetic. The folders are less distracting to audience members compared to paper folders, and their lifespan is far longer.
In order to ensure the lifespan of these folders for future seasons, we require every member participating in the Concert Band to place a refundable deposit prior to receiving their music folder.
A board member MUST initial your registration form indicating you have paid your deposit, otherwise we will have on record that it was not paid.
Refundable older deposits are the following for 2011-2012:
Please note:
- $10 will be refunded at the end of the 2011-2012 season OR if a member loses their membership for any reason.
- In either case, it will only be refunded once the folder and issued contents of the folder are returned.
- Members must sign for their deposits.
- The deposit may be donated to the Suburban Concert Band at the depositor's request.
- Deposits are only valid for the season in which they are deposited. We will not carry over a deposit into future seasons.
- If a member does not indicate their preference, the deposit will be considered a donation after May 31.
- All checks will be cashed due to check expiration policies. Refunds may be issued as either checks or cash.
- No refunds or modifications are possible after May 31 of that season's ending year.
- Dues and deposits may be paid in a lump sum. Please remember dues are non-refundable.
